Technical Product Manager - Healthcare Technology Platform

Valsoft Corporation

This mid-level Technical Product Manager role focuses on an enterprise healthcare platform. You will bridge the gap between executive leadership and engineering by translating business needs into technical requirements and managing the full product lifecycle.

What you’d own

  • Product vision, strategy, and roadmap execution
  • Backlog prioritization and user story creation
  • Technical solution design and API integration discussions
  • Customer feedback collection and support ticket analysis

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • You have 6+ years of experience in product management or software engineering.
  • You can speak 'fluent' engineer, meaning you understand Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • You have experience navigating enterprise software and healthcare-specific requirements like HIPAA.

Not for you if…

  • You prefer a pure product role without technical architecture or API involvement.
  • You prefer to work in isolation from executive leadership or customer feedback loops.
  • You are looking for a role that doesn't require hands-on technical analysis and troubleshooting.

Reading between the lines

  • The requirement for 'fluent engineer' skills suggests you will be deeply involved in the weeds of technical documentation and architecture, not just high-level strategy.
  • The mention of 'enabling the CTO to focus on technology leadership' implies a need for high autonomy and the ability to act as a proxy for leadership in daily engineering decisions.

You will be required to own product strategy, stakeholder engagement, prioritization, and roadmap execution for the development organization, enabling the CTO to focus on technology leadership, architecture, and strategic initiatives, while also bringing enough hands-on technical expertise to effectively partner with engineers and contribute to technical documentation and product development success. Ready to Take on the Challenge? If you are passionate about building innovative healthcare technology solutions and thrive at the intersection of product strategy, customer engagement, and technical execution, we would love to hear from you. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our platform, influence key business decisions, and work closely with executive leadership and engineering teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers. If you're excited by the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing organization and help scale the next generation of healthcare technology, we encourage you to apply and join our team.
