Senior Product Manager, Ad Formats
InstacartThis Senior Product Manager role focuses on the ecommerce ad formats domain. You will drive 0-to-1 product bets to expand advertiser reach and innovation across multiple user-facing surfaces.
What you’d own
- Ad format portfolio including savings, in-store, and AI solutions
- New advertiser segments like payment providers and non-endemic brands
- 0-to-1 product strategy and execution for new ad experiences
- Partner and vendor management for external technology integrations
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
- ✓You have experience specifically in ad formats and user-facing ad experiences
- ✓You excel at taking ambiguous ideas from zero to one
- ✓You are comfortable managing complex cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
- ✓You have a background in ad tech or retail media
Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer established, stable products over 0-to-1 innovation work
- ✗You prefer to work without the need for heavy cross-functional coordination
- ✗You prefer a role with clearly defined requirements rather than ambiguous goals
Reading between the lines
- The mention of 'non-endemic' and 'new advertiser types' suggests you will be tasked with expanding the platform's reach beyond its core audience.
- The requirement to manage 'external technology partners' implies a need for technical coordination beyond just internal engineering teams.
