Versaterm builds public safety software for law enforcement, fire and EMS, 911 communication centers, crime labs, courts, and schools. Its platform spans computer-aided dispatch, records management, jail management, digital evidence, body-worn and in-vehicle cameras, drone operations, community engagement, professional standards, and responder wellness, with newer additions like native drone integration in CAD and AI-assisted non-emergency call handling. With more than 47 years in the market, the company has grown into a broad ecosystem largely through acquisitions of point solutions like DroneSense, IAPro, and Visual Labs. Versaterm is owned by private equity firm Banneker Partners, with Permira joining as a minority investor in 2025.
