Product Manager
ThatchThis Product Manager role focuses on fintech and health benefits software. You will own a core product surface end-to-end, navigating complex operational and financial systems to improve the user experience.
What you’d own
- End-to-end ownership of a specific product surface
- Product strategy, prioritization, and execution
- Complex workflows involving billing, payments, or ledgers
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and operations
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
- ✓4-6 years of experience owning products end-to-end
- ✓Experience in regulated industries like healthcare or fintech
- ✓Ability to navigate complex systems thinking and edge cases
- ✓Technical fluency to partner on architecture decisions
Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer well-defined processes over ambiguous problems
- ✗You prefer pure product work without operational or financial complexity
- ✗You prefer a role with narrow, isolated scope rather than cross-functional coordination
Reading between the lines
- The mention of 'operational, financial, and technical' problems suggests you will spend significant time solving back-end complexities that aren't always visible to the end user.
- The focus on 'manual work' and 'reliability' implies a need to automate internal processes as much as building customer-facing features.
