Associate Forward-Deployed Product Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for an Associate Forward-Deployed Product Manager to own the day-to-day execution of live client implementations. You'll be the first line of communication with our clients and the person keeping the project moving — coordinating directly with the internal development team, tracking progress and blockers, running testing and training, and making sure what was committed is what gets delivered. You'll work collaboratively with the Account Manager and Senior PM (Forward-Deployed Product Manager), who own the commercial relationship and solution design; you own the execution. This is a development role designed to grow into the Senior PM role. Progression is based on performance and can be accelerated accordingly. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own Day-to-Day Client Communications — Manage day-to-day client communications, including question handling, escalation management, and requests to the client, keeping clients informed and unblocked. - Drive Project Execution & Tracking — Run the execution rhythm of the project: coordinate with the internal development team, maintain project management tools (e.g., GitHub Projects, Jira), and keep status, documentation, and release notes current for internal and client teams. - Client Data & Gap Analysis — Analyze client data to surface gaps, discrepancies, and risks, and support the Senior PM and engineering in solution architecture and functional gap analysis. - Testing, Coordination & Go-Live Prep — Validate every release before it reaches the client, coordinate client testing and sign-off, and own go-live readiness. Testing is how we protect client trust — it is a core part of this role. - Client Training & Enablement — Create training materials and deliver training so client teams are set up to operate the platform independently. - Influence the Platform Roadmap — Develop deep knowledge of the Tailor platform and translate client feedback into product insights that inform the roadmap. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2–5 years of experience in product management in either big tech or a startup, and/or management consulting experience; management consulting strongly preferred - Proven customer-facing experience, comfortable in front of both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Sharp, structured thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn and grow - Ownership mindset with an appetite for operational and technical detail - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Comfortable with data analysis tools and AI-driven workflows NICE TO HAVE - You build things in your spare time — show us a side project you've vibe coded and walk us through how you approached it - Exposure to ecommerce or physical-product operations — order, inventory, purchasing, fulfillment, or accounting workflows - Familiarity with ERP, 3PL, or commerce platforms - Prior experience onboarding customers onto software COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Salary: USD 100,000 to USD 130,000 yearly - Benefits: Health, dental, vision, flexible PTO, and more WHY TAILOR?
