Surge AI

1 open role

Surge AI provides human-generated training data for AI labs, including expert-written and expert-reviewed data, benchmarks, and reinforcement learning environments, with a workforce of domain experts behind it. Its customers are companies building frontier models, and it also sells off-the-shelf datasets and RL environments. Public reports describe a company that grew without outside capital, though recent coverage mentions a first raise in talks. The mission pitch is unusually philosophical, about raising AGI with the richness of human intelligence rather than just making it smart. For a PM, the interest is a marketplace and tooling business where data quality is the product.
