Product Manager, Radar
StripeThis Senior Product Manager role focuses on the Radar team within a fintech platform. You will manage fraud prevention tools, specifically balancing complex machine learning capabilities with intuitive dashboard experiences and developer APIs.
What you’d own
- Fraud management dashboards and developer APIs
- Product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization
- Pricing and monetization models for B2B products
- Integration success metrics and adoption tracking
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
- ✓You have 8+ years of experience and can handle 'zero to one' product cycles.
- ✓You possess technical fluency in APIs, system architecture, and SQL.
- ✓You have a background in B2B products with experience partnering with sales teams.
- ✓You enjoy translating complex technical capabilities into simple user experiences.
Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer well-defined features over 'scrappy' and 'resourceful' early-stage environments.
- ✗You prefer to focus solely on internal users rather than developer experience (DX).
- ✗You prefer a purely technical role without commercial, pricing, or GTM responsibilities.
Reading between the lines
- The mention of 'ruthless' prioritization and 'scrappy' work suggests a high-autonomy environment with limited overhead.
- Requirement for both dashboard and API experience implies you will manage products used by both non-technical end-users and technical developers.
- Emphasis on 'commercial outcomes' and 'pricing models' indicates the role is heavily tied to revenue goals, not just feature shipping.

Full job description
About the team Radar helps businesses prevent fraud and abuse without getting in the way of legitimate customers. We combine machine learning powered by Stripe’s global network with intuitive dashboard experiences and developer APIs, to give our users comprehensive controls and insights to protect their business against threats ranging from payment fraud and card testing to bot and free trial abuse. Fraud doesn’t stand still, and it isn’t limited to checkout.
As businesses launch new products and business models, attackers find new ways to exploit them. We obsess about understanding those attacks, identifying defenses that work, and making sophisticated fraud prevention simple for the businesses that depend on us to help them protect and grow their revenue with confidence. What you’ll do As a product manager on the Radar team, you’ll help customers, developers, and partners bring fraud prevention naturally into the systems and workflows they rely on.
You’ll shape products that make fraud management feel effortless, connecting Radar’s capabilities to the tools and experiences our users build and run. You’ll work at the intersection of customer needs and commercial opportunities to shape what we build and how we bring it to market. Working closely with engineering, data science, design, and go-to-market teams, you’ll build products and relationships that deliver lasting value to customers and partners.
You’ll connect technical decisions to commercial outcomes while maintaining a high bar for reliability, craft, and the details that make complex products feel simple. Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of the payments and fraud landscape, how businesses manage risk, and the systems and workflows they rely on. Work directly with customers, developers, and partners to uncover unmet needs, understand integration challenges, and identify opportunities to build broadly useful products.
Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing opportunities based on user impact, technical feasibility, and business value. Partner closely with engineering and data science to turn sophisticated fraud control and monitoring capabilities into reliable APIs, intuitive tools, and well-crafted developer experiences. Drive product development from ideation through launch, setting the pace, scoping thoughtfully, prioritizing ruthlessly, and executing with rigor.
Collaborate deeply with sales, marketing, and partnerships teams to identify opportunities, validate demand, and drive the adoption of new experiences. Work with customers and partners through early implementations, using hands-on feedback to improve documentation, onboarding, and the path from initial evaluation to production use. Own metrics for integration success, adoption, retention, revenue, and user value; use results to guide product and commercial decisions and communicate progress.
Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders about priorities, trade-offs, progress, and results, building alignment across teams you don’t directly manage. Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum requirements 8+ years of Product Management experience Highly analytical, with a rigorous approach to quantitative and qualitative evidence.
You’re comfortable digging into data, writing SQL when needed, and connecting product decisions to user and business outcomes. Scrappy and resourceful, with experience taking products from zero to one. You thrive in early-stage environments, test ideas quickly, and turn what you learn into products that scale. Strong commercial and business acumen. You understand how customer needs, market dynamics, and product differentiation translate into adoption and durable business value.
Proven cross-functional leadership, including experience partnering with B2B sales teams on customer discovery, technical evaluation, and commercialization. Experience shipping Dashboard and API products, with empathy for end users and developers alike. Experience developing pricing and monetization models for B2B products. Technical fluency to go deep with engineers on APIs, system architecture, and integration trade-offs, and to explain those decisions clearly to customers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for distilling complex user problems into precise, actionable framing. An ownership mindset and a high bar for product quality. You do what it takes to solve user problems and care deeply about the details of the experience. Preferred qualifications Experience building fraud prevention, risk, security, or ML powered products. Experience building developer platforms and working with integration partners, including navigating technical dependencies and high-stakes external relationships.
