Remote PM Jobs Remote PM Jobs

This Product Manager role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and advancing AI products to solve clinical and operational pain points within a large healthcare institution.

What you’d own

  • Institutional product lead for AI solutions
  • Market scans and vendor evaluations
  • Business cases and success metrics
  • Pilot programs and adoption plans

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • You have 5+ years in IT implementation or 7+ years in product management
  • You excel at stakeholder management across clinical, executive, and technical teams
  • You have experience translating complex workflow pain points into technical requirements
  • You are comfortable navigating healthcare data governance and security constraints

Not for you if…

  • You prefer a pure engineering-led product role over a heavy stakeholder/vendor management role
  • You want to build products from scratch rather than evaluating and implementing existing vendor solutions
  • You are looking for a 100% remote role without any required travel to Memphis

Reading between the lines

  • The emphasis on 'diplomacy,' 'influence,' and 'facilitation' suggests a high-friction stakeholder environment where you must manage competing priorities across many departments.
  • The requirement to 'translate workflow pain points' into business cases implies the role is as much about internal consulting and change management as it is about product specs.
  • Frequent mentions of 'governance,' 'security,' and 'risk' indicate a highly regulated environment where speed may be secondary to compliance.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a Memphis-based pediatric treatment and research institution, founded in 1962, that focuses on childhood cancer, blood disorders, neurological disorders, and other catastrophic pediatric diseases. It is the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children, pairing clinical care with laboratory research aimed at turning discoveries into treatments. St. Jude runs on a donor-funded model, so families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food, and no child is turned away based on ability to pay. Since opening it has helped raise the childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to over 80%. For anyone joining, the draw is mission-driven work at a large research hospital where science and patient care are tightly linked.
