Senior Product Manager - Remote Canada

Smile Digital Health

This Senior Product Manager role focuses on a healthcare data platform, specifically targeting payer solutions and interoperability. You will drive product strategy, market positioning, and cross-functional alignment for complex health informatics systems.

What you’d own

  • Strategic product capabilities for the healthcare data platform
  • Market analysis and competitive research to identify differentiators
  • Product communication materials including white papers and demos
  • Public advocacy through webinars and industry events

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 7+ years of experience in PM, product strategy, or health informatics.
  • ✓You possess deep healthcare domain knowledge and experience with complex software platforms.
  • ✓You are comfortable in a consultative role engaging with executive-level clients.
  • ✓You have technical familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or RESTful API standards.

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer to stay behind the scenes (this role requires public speaking and webinars).
  • ✗You prefer a pure technical focus without marketing, sales, and collateral creation.
  • ✗You are looking for a role with a small, established team (this is a new headcount).

Reading between the lines

  • The 'entrepreneurial' and 'startup mentality' phrasing suggests you will need to build processes from scratch rather than following an existing playbook.
  • The requirement to work with Technical PMs to 'translate business needs into backlogs' implies a split between high-level strategy and tactical execution.
