Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer a pure product company over a client-facing consultancy model
- ✗You prefer to work on internal products rather than custom client engagements
- ✗You prefer a role without business development or proposal responsibilities
Reading between the lines
- The 'consultative' and 'engagement' language suggests you will be managing multiple clients simultaneously rather than one single product.
- The requirement to contribute to 'proposals' implies the role involves some pre-sales activity or helping win new business.
- The emphasis on 'high-stakes decisions' and 'complex tradeoffs' indicates a high degree of autonomy with significant responsibility for project outcomes.
