Director, Product Management, Core Products

Penn Interactive

This Director role leads a core products organization within a large entertainment and gaming company. You will oversee foundational systems like identity, payments, and internal tools to support both online and retail platforms.

What you’d own

  • Identity Trust (registration, onboarding, KYC, login)
  • Payments Fraud (deposits, withdrawals, fraud prevention)
  • Internal Tools (workflows for Customer Support, VIP, and Operations)
  • Product management team leadership and coaching

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 8+ years of product experience and 2+ years of people leadership.
  • ✓You have experience in complex platform domains like identity, payments, or fraud.
  • ✓You possess strong technical fluency with APIs, architecture, and integrations.
  • ✓You excel at balancing growth goals with strict regulatory and risk requirements.

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer individual contributor roles without managing other managers.
  • ✗You prefer high-growth startups over established, highly regulated environments.
  • ✗You prefer building consumer-facing features over backend infrastructure and internal tools.

Reading between the lines

  • The focus on 'compliance,' 'risk,' and 'regulatory requirements' suggests a heavy emphasis on non-functional requirements and legal constraints.
  • The requirement to manage both managers and individual contributors indicates a multi-layered organizational structure.
  • The mention of 'modernizing internal tools' implies a significant portion of the roadmap involves operational efficiency rather than just customer-facing features.
