Head of Product - Interfaces
MercuryThis Head of Product role in the fintech space focuses on unifying multi-channel customer interfaces. You will lead a team to create cohesive experiences across mobile, web, and API surfaces while integrating AI capabilities.
What you’d own
- Unified product direction for Dashboard, Mobile, Command, and API/MCP
- Shared capabilities like navigation, tasks, notifications, and agent interactions
- AI experience strategy to automate financial workflows
- Management and coaching of a team of Product Managers
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
- ✓You have 10+ years of product experience with at least 5 years leading other PMs
- ✓You have practical experience building and evaluating AI-driven products
- ✓You possess strong technical judgment for complex platform decisions
- ✓You enjoy balancing high-level strategy with hands-on design and prototype work
Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer a narrow product scope rather than managing a broad portfolio of shared capabilities
- ✗You prefer to stay away from the technical complexities of API or platform infrastructure
- ✗You prefer a hands-off leadership style that doesn't involve direct coaching and hiring
Reading between the lines
- The focus on 'making it dependable enough to trust with money' implies a high bar for reliability and security in the AI implementation.
- The requirement to 'turn ambiguity into a clear direction' suggests the internal roadmap for cross-platform integration is not yet fully defined.

Full job description
In the early 1980s at Bell Labs, Gerald Ash and his colleagues questioned a rule that AT T's long-distance network had followed for decades; a call climbed a fixed hierarchy of switches until it found an open path. They modeled the idea, simulated it, and tested it until it held. In 1984, AT T put Dynamic Nonhierarchical Routing (DNHR) into the national network, which became the basis of global real-time telephony routing that came after it.
