AI Product Builder (Martech)

Formula

This mid-level Product Manager role focuses on building in-house marketing technology and growth tools. You will leverage AI to automate marketing operations and optimize performance marketing pipelines.

What you’d own

  • In-house martech solutions for ad platforms, creatives, and attribution
  • Automated workflows to scale creative production and campaign testing
  • Product lifecycle from discovery and MVP definition to post-launch adoption
  • Integration of LLM pipelines for data classification and enrichment

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have practical experience in performance marketing, ad platforms, or growth
  • ✓You are an active AI builder using tools like Cursor or Claude Code daily
  • ✓You possess strong data fluency including SQL and experiment design
  • ✓You prefer high autonomy and making decisions on build vs. buy

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer a traditional PM role without hands-on technical building requirements
  • ✗You prefer clear, pre-defined roadmaps over identifying unstated bottlenecks
  • ✗You are uncomfortable with roles requiring direct involvement in production reliability

Reading between the lines

  • The requirement for 'v0' builds in hours rather than sprints suggests a very high pace and expectation for rapid prototyping.
  • The focus on 'scaling what marketing can do without scaling the team' implies a heavy emphasis on automation over manual process improvement.

Full job description

TL;DR
Formula grows through performance marketing, and the marketing stack behind that growth is built in-house. You’ll find the Marketing and Growth problems worth solving and take them to working products, from the first team interview to production.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Someone who has worked inside marketing: ad platforms, creatives, funnels and attribution are familiar, and you understand why hourly campaign optimization matters.
  • A product person who speaks in problems and outcomes, not shipped features. You frame every roadmap item as a bet on a metric and can name the metric behind your last three launches and what it did. You kill features. You talk about money as easily as about UX.
  • An AI builder, self-directed. You have built something alone in the last six months with Claude Code, Cursor or LLM APIs, and it is in use. A v0 takes you hours, not sprints.
  • Data fluency. You pull your own numbers (SQL, Amplitude or similar), read a retention curve, design a clean experiment, and know noise from signal.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively identify and implement new martech solutions before they become bottlenecks — shaping the long-term vision of the domain and driving technical and product priorities.
  • Learn how the marketing and growth teams actually work and find the bottlenecks they haven’t named yet.
  • Choose how each problem gets solved — build it with AI, buy it, integrate it, or change the workflow — and define the MVP and the success metric before the first line of code.
  • Scale what marketing can do without scaling the team: automate the operations that cap how many tests, creatives and campaigns we can run, and measure the effect in hours saved and ad performance gained.
  • Connect the pieces into a pipeline — research → creative production → launch → optimization — replacing manual hand-offs with automation.
  • Own what you ship after launch: adoption by the teams, reliability in production, iteration on real usage.

Must Have

  • Practical martech, performance or growth marketing experience; you’ve worked with ad platforms and their APIs.
  • Product experience in Marketing B2B SaaS or in-house martech teams: validated problems, measured impact.
  • 5+ years in product and/or engineering, with hands-on experience building production services.
  • Daily use of AI-assisted coding (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar) to ship solutions, not just prototypes.
  • Full-cycle autonomy: discovery → design → build → launch → measure, with minimal direction.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at mobile app publishers (consumer subscriptions with high-volume user acquisition).
  • Meta Marketing API and Google Ads API.
  • LLM pipelines on data: classification, tagging, enrichment.
  • Node.js/TypeScript or Python; deployment on Railway or similar.

What We Offer

  1. Inspiring Mission: Help users live longer, healthier lives through innovative products.
  1. Impact: Directly influence company growth with minimal bureaucracy.
  1. Attractive Compensation: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  1. Work-Life Balance: Flexible working hours.
  1. Professional Development: Tuition reimbursement.
  1. Remote Work: Fully remote, with a preference for candidates within ±2 hours of CET.
  1. Benefits: Health insurance, gym membership reimbursement, home office support.
  1. A profitable company. 8 years old, no runway anxiety. Your bets are judged on results, not on the next round.

Formula (by Fjor Nutrition) is a consumer mobile app for sustainable weight loss built around specific dietary lifestyles like anti-inflammatory, Mediterranean, and carnivore eating. It offers personalized meal plans, goal-driven recipes, and food tracking where users log meals by snapping a photo, scanning a barcode, or using voice, plus personalized feedback and habit nudges. It's a direct-to-consumer subscription product; the company grew out of a top-ranking keto diet app with several million installs and hundreds of thousands of subscribers. It's a small team, so a PM here would own a lot of surface area across onboarding, tracking, and retention in a competitive consumer health space.
