Product Manager - RCM

Flagler Health

This Product Manager role focuses on the revenue cycle management (RCM) surface area within a healthcare fintech platform. You will own the roadmap for eligibility, authorizations, and EHR integrations.

What you’d own

  • Revenue cycle product roadmap
  • Eligibility and prior authorization workflows
  • EHR integration strategy
  • Success metrics for RCM features

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • You have 5+ years of experience with specific revenue cycle management domains.
  • You can translate complex clinical operations into technical requirements for engineers.
  • You are comfortable with high autonomy and reporting directly to the CEO.

Not for you if…

  • You prefer a structured corporate environment over a fast-moving startup pace.
  • You want a role without direct involvement in operational workflows and clinic feedback.
  • You are unable to travel to NYC as required by the role.

Reading between the lines

  • Reporting directly to the CEO implies you will have high visibility and need to manage up effectively.
  • The requirement to 'run through walls' suggests a high-pressure environment where you will be expected to handle significant ambiguity.
  • The emphasis on 'staying close enough... to know when a spec is wrong' implies a heavy focus on manual discovery and validation over polished documentation.

Full job description
Location Type: Remote Location: Remote Employment Type: FullTime Department: Engineering FLAGLER HEALTH IS BUILDING THE CLINICAL OPERATING SYSTEM FOR MODERN MUSCULOSKELETAL CARE. We partner with MSK provider groups and specialty clinics to help them grow, operate more efficiently, and deliver better longitudinal care across patient acquisition, clinical workflows, and ongoing patient engagement. Our platform sits at the intersection of care delivery and clinic operations, helping providers capture more value across the full patient lifecycle. We’ve recently raised our Series B https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260810011327/en/Flagler-Health-Raises-%2450-Million-Series-B-to-Build-the-AI-Operating-System-for-Musculoskeletal-Care and are entering our next phase of growth. THE ROLE: Revenue cycle is where clinic economics are won or lost, and it is one of the most operationally painful parts of running a practice. We're hiring an RCM Product Manager to own that surface area end to end: eligibility, authorizations, and the EHR integrations that everything else depends on. This role reports directly to the CEO. You will own the roadmap for revenue cycle, work closely with Engineering to ship it, and stay close enough to real clinic workflows to know when a spec is wrong before it gets built. The right person has lived in revenue cycle long enough to know where the edge cases hide, and has the product instincts to decide what actually gets built. WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Own the product roadmap for revenue cycle: eligibility, prior authorizations, claims-adjacent workflows, and EHR integrations. - Translate the operational reality of revenue cycle into product requirements engineers can build against. - Partner with Engineering on scoping, sequencing, and trade-offs, and stay involved through delivery. - Work directly with clinics and internal operations teams to understand where the current process breaks and what it costs them. - Define success metrics for revenue cycle features and hold the roadmap accountable to them. - Prioritize across integration work, new capability, and reliability with clear reasoning behind each call. - Partner with leadership on how revenue cycle capability shapes the broader platform strategy. Required Qualifications: - 5+ years in product management roles. - Direct experience with revenue cycle management: eligibility verification, prior authorizations, and EHR integrations. - Demonstrated ability to own a complex, integration-heavy product area end to end. - Strong written and verbal communication. You can make a technical trade-off legible to a clinical or executive audience. - Comfort operating with high autonomy in a fast-moving startup, reporting directly to the CEO. - Able to travel to NYC as needed. Preferred Qualifications: - CS degree or equivalent technical background. - Solutions engineering experience in a major EHR environment (Epic or similar), particularly if you can still write code. WORK ENVIRONMENT: - NYC preferred. Excellent candidates can work remotely, with regular travel to NYC. - We have video on for our weekly team syncs and pair-coding/tech discussions. Camera is required to be on during meetings. OUR VALUES: This is what you can expect of your teammates at Flagler: - Owner: We own our work like founders. We don't wait to be asked, and we pick up the problem nobody else has. - Builder: We like making things from scratch. We don't need a playbook to start, and we'd rather ship a rough first version than wait on a perfect spec. - Fast: We make quick decisions. We favor progress and respect process. - Transparent: We communicate directly. We value merit and honesty, and we challenge assumptions, including our own. - Curious: We explore new approaches and ask "why" often.
