Product Manager, Financial Data Solutions
CsiwebThis Senior Product Manager role oversees data products that transform financial transaction data into consumer and business insights. You will build the foundational intelligence powering a broader digital banking platform.
What you’d own
- Data product strategy and roadmap for financial transaction data
- Predictive data products and ML model integration
- Internal data APIs and platform products for other teams
- Data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance standards
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
- ✓You have 7+ years of experience with data-centric or ML-powered products
- ✓You possess strong SQL fluency and can treat data as a product
- ✓You have experience in banking, payments, or financial services
- ✓You are comfortable translating ambiguous data problems into technical requirements
Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer working on front-end UI/UX rather than backend data products
- ✗You lack experience in highly regulated financial environments
- ✗You prefer a guided environment over independent ownership of a roadmap
Reading between the lines
- The requirement to 'operate independently once direction is set' implies high autonomy with minimal day-to-day hand-holding.
- The focus on 'cross-team enablement' and 'adoption' suggests you will spend significant time as an internal stakeholder manager, not just a feature builder.
- Emphasis on 'deterministic, trustworthy outputs' in a financial context signals that accuracy and risk mitigation are prioritized over rapid, experimental iteration.

Full job description
Job Description: This role owns data products that leverage rich financial transaction data to generate meaningful consumer and business insights. These products are the foundational intelligence that powers our broader digital banking and engagement solutions, which means your work has outsized impact on what the entire organization can build on top of it. You will partner closely with data science and engineering to take complex data and turn it into reliable, high-value capabilities and you'll be trusted to drive that work forward independently.
Product Strategy & Roadmap Own and evolve a cohesive strategy and roadmap for data products that turn large-scale financial transaction data into high-value consumer and business insights. Conduct market and client research to understand the financial goals and pain points behind the data, and translate them into a prioritized roadmap of high-impact capabilities. Make clear prioritization and trade-off decisions across competing opportunities, operating independently once direction is set.
Data Solutions & Platform Delivery Drive the development of data products that surface meaningful, decision-ready insights for consumers and businesses. Develop forward-looking, predictive data products that anticipate the financial needs of consumers and businesses. Productize data and APIs so other product teams can build engaging, data-driven experiences on top of them. Advanced Analytics & Model Integration Lead the integration of predictive and machine-learning models into the data product suite, partnering with Data Science and Engineering to move capabilities from proof of concept to scalable production features.
Define the quality metrics that matter most, and hold the bar for deterministic, trustworthy outputs. Translate complex, ambiguous data problems into clear requirements for technical teams. Cross-Team Enablement & Adoption Partner with product and engineering teams across the organization to ensure new data capabilities are understood, trusted, and adopted downstream. Define clear contracts, documentation, and support models so other teams can build on your data products with confidence.
Monitor usage and adoption of your products; proactively identify and remove barriers to adoption. Governance & Compliance Champion data quality, accuracy, and trust as first-class product attributes. Ensure data products meet the privacy, security, and regulatory expectations of a financial-services environment, partnering with risk and compliance stakeholders. Drive the evolution from descriptive data outputs to prescriptive, decision-ready capabilities grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs.
Requirements: 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong emphasis on data-centric or ML-powered products. Financial services, banking, or payments industry experience is required. Comfort treating data and APIs as products, with strong SQL and data fluency. A track record partnering with data science and engineering teams to ship data-driven capabilities from concept to production. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline, with a Master's degree a plus.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with predictive or forecasting data products. Background spanning both consumer and small-business financial products. Familiarity with modern cloud data architectures and the modern data stack (e.g., Snowflake, dbt). As a forward-thinking software provider, Computer Services, Inc. About Csiweb
See all roles →CSI (Computer Services, Inc.) builds core and digital banking software for community and regional banks, the kind of institutions that can't staff their own fintech teams but still need to compete with the big players. Beyond the banking core, it sells lending software, financial-crimes and AML compliance tools, managed cybersecurity, managed IT, and advisory services, plus an open-banking marketplace for plugging in third-party fintechs. The company leans hard on a service-first, relationship-driven reputation with its bank customers. CSI was taken private in a 1.6 billion dollar deal by Centerbridge Partners and Bridgeport in 2022, and its careers messaging emphasizes an employee-centric culture and growth in the fintech and regtech space.
