About Cars.com

See all roles →

Cars.com runs one of the largest US online automotive marketplaces, connecting people shopping for new and used cars with dealerships through listings, pricing tools, vehicle reviews, and shopping features. Beyond the consumer marketplace, it sells software and marketing solutions to dealers, so its business model spans both a shopper-facing destination and a dealer-facing subscription product. The company spun off from TEGNA in 2017 and trades publicly on the NYSE under CARS. It describes itself as remote-first with flexible work and generous parental leave. For a PM, the interesting part is the two-sided dynamic, balancing what car shoppers want against the dealer clients who actually pay the bills.
