Staff Product Manager - CIA

CaptivateIQ

This Staff Product Manager role oversees Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Compliance for a sales performance management platform. You will lead the strategy for foundational security and enterprise-ready infrastructure.

What you’d own

  • Identity, Access Management, and Compliance roadmap
  • Authentication, authorization, permissions, and auditability features
  • Platform consistency, APIs, and developer experience
  • Security standards and best practices for the organization

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 8+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or technical products
  • ✓You have direct experience owning Security, IAM, or Compliance product areas
  • ✓You are comfortable partnering with senior engineers on system design and tradeoffs
  • ✓You excel at influencing without authority across cross-functional teams

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer building consumer-facing features over foundational platform infrastructure
  • ✗You prefer a role with direct reports rather than an individual contributor position
  • ✗You are uncomfortable navigating ambiguous, high-risk problem spaces

Reading between the lines

  • The emphasis on 'influencing without authority' and 'cross-functional leadership' suggests you will need to navigate significant organizational complexity to get things done.
  • The requirement to 'anticipate future scale' and 'long-term platform investments' implies a heavy focus on proactive architectural planning over reactive feature shipping.
