Who it’s for
A fit if you…
✓You have 5+ years of experience in product management or design.
✓You can translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
✓You excel at influencing stakeholders beyond your immediate team.
✓You enjoy balancing 'radical thinking' with disciplined execution.
Not for you if…
✗You prefer working in a silo without heavy cross-team coordination.
✗You prefer a narrow scope rather than broad platform infrastructure.
✗You struggle to navigate ambiguity when prioritizing inputs from many stakeholders.
Reading between the lines
The mention of 'multiple cross functional teams' and 'partners beyond just one’s immediate team' suggests a high degree of organizational complexity and dependency management.
The requirement to 'challenge the status quo' and 'radical thinking' implies a need for proactive problem-solving rather than just executing a pre-defined roadmap.

Guests can book anything from spare rooms to entire estates, while hosts earn income from properties they own or manage. Airbnb operates with a relatively flat, design-forward culture and has been public about its move to a fully distributed workforce after the pandemic.
