Full job description
Location Type: Remote Location: Portugal; Spain; Malta Employment Type: FullTime Department: Product ABOUT BLOCK LABS Block Labs is a premier technology studio operating at the bleeding edge of Web3, Artificial Intelligence, and iGaming. We don't just ship features; we engineer high-scale, production-grade platforms that power the next generation of digital products. We are a collective of senior engineers, product strategists, and builders who refuse to compromise on architecture. Whether we are designing autonomous multi-agent AI systems, building decentralized financial infrastructure, or architecting high-frequency iGaming platforms, our standard is excellence. We move fast, but we build for the long term. If you are looking to work alongside a team that values deep technical expertise, thoughtful system design, and product ownership, Block Labs is where you belong. THE ROLE We are hiring a senior, strategically minded Product Manager to act as a mini–business owner, with end-to-end ownership of the Rewards, Gamification & Retention module within a soon-to-launch, next-generation white-label casino platform. You will own the systems that determine how value is distributed to players—spanning real-time incentives, reward mechanics, and gamification loops that drive retention and player lifetime value. This is a hands-on role for a PM who thrives on complex data systems, incentive design, and measurable commercial outcomes. THE REWARDS, GAMIFICATION & RETENTION SYSTEM This module sits at the core of player engagement, working across three key areas: - Real-Time Incentives (CRM layer): Systems that determine when players should be engaged based on behavior (e.g., low balance, inactivity, churn signals) - Rewards: Bonus structures, issuance logic, and lifecycle management - Gamification: Missions, streaks, and progression systems that drive engagement beyond direct bonuses What makes it interesting: - Real-Time by design: Decisions are driven by live player behavior, not static campaigns - System-led, not tool-led: Moving away from manual campaign building toward AI-first, data-driven decisioning WHAT YOU’LL OWN - Full product lifecycle of the Rewards, Gamification & ‘CRM’ modules, owning vision and roadmap from ideation to delivery - Commercial success of the module, owning key metrics such as retention, player value (LTV), and incentive efficiency (ROI) - Cross-module integration, ensuring signals from Casino, Cashier, and other systems feed into incentive and reward logic The roadmap is yours to shape. You will own the design and evolution of core capabilities, including: - Reward Systems: Bonus types, rules, limits, and lifecycle - Gamification Systems: Missions, streaks, and progression mechanics - Player Definitions: VIP, churn risk, and value segmentation (in collaboration with Data / AI teams) - Incentive Controls: Limits, caps, and guardrails to ensure efficient use of rewards WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING This is a hands-on role. You will: - Run discovery: Analysing player and operator behaviour, identifying problems worth solving, and validating assumptions before committing engineering effort - Define and maintain product artefacts: Covering problem statements, success metrics, constraints, assumptions, and decisions - Collaborate daily within your squad: Ensuring shared understanding of goals, trade-offs, and outcomes - Work closely with AI, Core Casino, and Cashier teams: To align on how incentives and engagement systems are applied across the platform - Use data actively and critically: Ensuring tracking reflects reality and turning insights into concrete product decisions - Engage stakeholders with clarity and intent: Gathering input while retaining ownership of prioritization and trade-offs EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR We don’t expect a unicorn—but we do expect strong fundamentals and relevant exposure. Required: - 3+ years in a Product Management role - Experience in iGaming / casino products (essential) - Experience owning products with complex backend logic and data dependencies - Demonstrated knowledge leveraging AI to automate workflows or improve process efficiency Preferred: - Experience with reward systems, gamification, or retention mechanics - Exposure to growth, monetization, or incentive-driven products What kind of culture can I expect? Mature, mission-driven, and low-ego. We value clarity over noise, outcomes over theatrics, and pace without chaos. If you’re one of the smartest minds in your craft and want to build with other experts, you’ll feel at home here.
