Product Manager II

Bamboo Health

This Product Manager role focuses on a healthcare technology platform, specifically managing cross-pillar workflows to improve product adoption and utilization in live customer environments.

What you’d own

  • End-to-end workflow performance across three platform pillars
  • PRDs and technical documentation for engineering teams
  • Usage data analysis to identify and fix underutilization
  • Scalable automation solutions for repetitive tasks

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 5+ years of experience, preferably in healthcare technology.
  • ✓You enjoy systems thinking and optimizing complex operational processes.
  • ✓You are skilled at translating customer pain points into technical requirements.
  • ✓You are comfortable using AI-supported tools for daily productivity.

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer building new features over optimizing existing workflows.
  • ✗You prefer high-level strategy over detailed, hands-on documentation.
  • ✗You prefer a slow-paced environment without the need to manage trade-offs across multiple stakeholders.

Reading between the lines

  • The focus on 'underutilization' and 'leakage' suggests a heavy emphasis on product adoption and operational efficiency over pure feature growth.
  • The requirement for 'cross-pillar' work implies you will need to navigate complex internal dependencies between different product teams.

About Bamboo Health

See all roles →

Bamboo Health runs a nationwide care collaboration network that stitches together physical and behavioral health data and surfaces it as real-time alerts inside clinical workflows, so hospitals, health plans, and state governments can act on care events as they happen. Its products include Pings for care-event notifications, Bamboo Bridge for behavioral health referrals, OpenBeds for treatment-bed access, and controlled-substance data feeds used by state PDMP programs. It touches roughly a billion patient encounters a year and works with most major hospitals, pharmacy chains, and health plans, with a strong focus on the substance-use and behavioral health crisis. Owned by private equity, it's a virtual-first company with teams across the US and Poland, so PMs work remotely on data-heavy products where getting the right insight to a clinician in the moment genuinely changes outcomes.
