Availity

This Senior Product Manager role focuses on scaling a healthcare platform's infrastructure. You will lead the strategy for platform consolidation, API developer experience, and workflow automation.

What you’d own

  • Platform consolidation and API/developer experience
  • Workflow automation and data-powered insights
  • Eligibility & benefits business growth
  • Payer-provider collaboration workflows

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 3+ years of experience delivering enterprise platform capabilities like APIs or data platforms.
  • ✓You excel at leading through influence without formal authority over engineering and design teams.
  • ✓You have a track record of taking ambiguous problems and turning them into scalable product capabilities.

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer having a clearly defined roadmap provided to you rather than discovering the 'right answer' yourself.
  • ✗You are looking for a role with a large team of direct reports, as this is an individual contributor position.
  • ✗You lack the technical fluency required to influence architecture and scalability decisions.

Reading between the lines

  • The emphasis on 'operating like owners' and 'driving execution in ambiguity' suggests a high-autonomy environment where you will be expected to self-direct your priorities.
  • The requirement for 'technical fluency to influence architecture' implies the role is deeply integrated with engineering, not just a business-facing product role.

You’ll lead discovery, define strategy, and drive roadmaps that strengthen our scalable product platform, spanning platform consolidation, API/developer experience, workflow automation, security, and data‑powered insights - so Availity delivers an end‑to‑end platform, not disconnected point solutions.
