Senior Principal Product Manager

Autodesk

This Principal Product Manager role focuses on the sales domain, specifically owning the strategy and execution for pipeline management, forecasting systems, and AI-powered productivity tools to support a global sales force.

What you’d own

  • Pipeline management and forecasting experience end-to-end
  • AI strategy for forecasting agents and seller productivity
  • Vendor roadmaps for Salesforce and Clari platforms
  • Multi-quarter roadmap across various enterprise segments

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 8+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS or GTM platforms
  • ✓You are an expert in forecasting/pipeline lifecycle in B2B environments
  • ✓You have a proven point of view on agentic systems and predictive AI
  • ✓You can influence and persuade stakeholders up to the VP level

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer a generalist role rather than a deep domain-specific niche
  • ✗You are looking for a role with less stakeholder management complexity
  • ✗You prefer building new products from scratch rather than optimizing existing enterprise platforms

Reading between the lines

  • The requirement for an 'expert, not a fast learner' suggests a high bar for domain authority and immediate autonomy.
  • Managing multiple vendor roadmaps implies significant work in platform integration and third-party influence.
  • The focus on 'trust' and 'explainability' in AI indicates a need to navigate complex accuracy hurdles before shipping.
