Sr. Principal Product Manager

Twilio

This Principal Product Manager role oversees a large-scale developer platform and infrastructure. You will lead the strategy for foundational services to provide self-service experiences for internal teams and partners.

What you’d own

  • Platform roadmap for foundational services
  • Developer portal and golden paths
  • Self-service tools and documentation
  • KPI dashboards for adoption and reliability

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • 12+ years of experience building large-scale cloud services platforms
  • 10+ years of people management experience
  • Deep technical fluency in Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change and executive influence

Not for you if…

  • You prefer a purely reactive support role over proactive product ownership
  • You lack experience with high-scale, metered commerce systems
  • You are looking for a role with minimal travel (15% expected)

Reading between the lines

  • The shift from 'ticket-based' to 'self-service' implies the current platform is likely overwhelmed by manual support requests.
  • The requirement for 'executive presence' and 'ground-breaking change' suggests a high-pressure environment involving significant organizational restructuring.
