Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • You have 5+ years of experience in video production or product management
  • You are comfortable writing scripts and providing creative direction to talent
  • You can balance creative vision with data-informed decision-making

Not for you if…

  • You prefer pure technical product management over content production and editing
  • You cannot commit to occasional travel (approx. three days per month)
  • You prefer a role without hands-on creative tasks like graphic design or editing

Reading between the lines

  • The requirement to 'serve as editor or graphic designer as needed' implies you will be doing production work, not just managing it.
  • Emphasis on 'theological accuracy' and 'mission alignment' suggests a high degree of scrutiny on content values.

About Ascension Publishing Group

See all roles →

Ascension is a Catholic media and publishing company best known for the Great Adventure Bible, the Catechism in a Year and Bible in a Year podcasts, and faith-formation video programs used by parishes and individuals. Its catalog spans Bibles, books, sacrament-prep curricula, and an app, sold both to Catholic parishes and directly to consumers through an e-commerce storefront. Founded in 1998 and based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, it is a for-profit, privately held business that also funds free media through listener support and selective sponsorships. For a PM, it is an unusual mix of e-commerce, digital media, and a faith-formation product app rather than a typical SaaS company.
