What you’d own
Merchant dashboard, analytics, and reporting capabilities
Onboarding, catalog management, pricing, and promotions
APIs and merchant integrations for platform scaling
Merchant insights and monetization products
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
✓You have 5-8+ years of experience in commerce, marketplace, or retail technology.
✓You have a track record of building B2B products that drive adoption and monetization.
✓You enjoy translating complex commerce workflows into intuitive dashboard and reporting experiences.
Not for you if…
✗You prefer a stable, established product roadmap over early-stage 'zero to one' ambiguity.
✗You prefer working in a silo rather than collaborating across Partnerships, AI, Data, and GTM teams.
✗You are looking for a purely consumer-facing role without heavy B2B merchant requirements.
Reading between the lines
The emphasis on 'translating retailer feedback' into 'scalable product capabilities' suggests you will spend significant time acting as a bridge between sales/partnerships and engineering.
The mention of 'significant ambiguity' in a startup environment implies you will need to define the roadmap from scratch rather than executing on a pre-defined plan.

About Wizard Wizard is the top-performing AI Shopping Agent, delivering the best products from across the web with unmatched accuracy, quality, and trust. We're redefining how people shop by combining AI reasoning with real-time commerce. Instead of searching through dozens of websites, consumers simply tell Wizard what they're looking for, and our AI agent finds, compares, and recommends the best products from across the internet. As we continue scaling, we're building the merchant platform that powers this experience—connecting retailers, brands, product catalogs, pricing, availability, offers, checkout, and merchant insights into a seamless ecosystem. About the Role We're looking for a Product Manager, Merchant Experience to own the merchant side of Wizard's AI shopping ecosystem. You'll define the strategy and roadmap for the products that enable merchants to successfully sell through Wizard from merchant onboarding and integrations to catalog quality, pricing, promotions, monetization, reporting, and merchant insights. You'll own the merchant-facing experience, including the long-term vision for the merchant dashboard, analytics, and reporting capabilities. You'll help answer a critical question for Wizard: What products, tools, and insights will merchants log into and rely on. Working closely with Merchant Partnerships, Engineering, AI, Data, Merchant Operations, and Partner Success, you'll build scalable products that help merchants maximize visibility, conversion, and revenue while ensuring consumers receive the best shopping experience. This role sits at the intersection of commerce, product, and AI. You'll balance merchant needs with consumer experience while shaping how retailers and brands participate in the next generation of AI-powered shopping. What You'll Do Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Wizard's merchant platform and merchant-facing product experiences. Build products that help merchants onboard quickly, manage catalogs, optimize product visibility, understand performance, and grow sales through Wizard. Define and evolve the merchant dashboard, reporting experience, and merchant insights roadmap, delivering meaningful visibility into performance, catalog health, attribution, conversion, and business outcomes. Define experiences around merchant onboarding, catalog management, pricing, promotions, inventory, offers, checkout, APIs, and merchant reporting. Partner closely with Merchant Partnerships to translate retailer feedback and strategic partner needs into scalable product capabilities. Work with Engineering to build APIs, merchant integrations, feeds, and platform capabilities that make it easy for retailers and brands to integrate with Wizard. Collaborate with AI and Search teams to improve how merchant data is surfaced, ranked, and personalized throughout the shopping journey. Partner with Data to define the metrics, dashboards, and reporting capabilities that power merchant decision-making today while laying the foundation for future paid merchant intelligence products. Drive initiatives that improve merchant adoption, catalog quality, product coverage, conversion, engagement, and monetization. Balance merchant requests with long-term platform investments that scale across thousands of merchants. Establish KPIs around merchant growth, dashboard engagement, catalog quality, product coverage, conversion, merchant retention, and revenue. Meet regularly with strategic merchants to validate product direction and identify new opportunities. What You Bring 5–8+ years of Product Management experience building commerce, marketplace, retail technology, ecommerce, payments, or merchant products. Experience owning merchant-facing or B2B products that drive adoption, engagement, monetization, or merchant growth. Strong understanding of ecommerce ecosystems, product catalogs, pricing, promotions, inventory, checkout, APIs, merchant integrations, and reporting platforms. Strong understanding of the metrics retailers and brands care about, including GMV, traffic, conversion, AOV, product visibility, attribution, customer intent, promotional performance, catalog health, and reporting quality. Experience partnering with Business Development, Merchant Partnerships, or Sales teams to launch external-facing products. Experience building dashboards, analytics products, reporting experiences, or data-driven customer products is highly preferred. Strong product intuition with the ability to balance merchant needs, consumer experience, and business objectives. Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, AI, Data, Partnerships, and GTM teams. Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive product decisions and prioritization. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ambiguity. You'll Thrive Here If You... Enjoy building products that help merchants grow their business. Think deeply about marketplace dynamics and balancing the needs of both merchants and consumers. Can translate complex commerce workflows into intuitive product experiences. Are excited by building dashboards, reporting, and insights that merchants genuinely rely on. Love building products from zero to one in an early-stage startup. Thrive collaborating across engineering, partnerships, commercial, and data teams. Cofounded by Marc Lore (Jet.com, Walmart eCommerce) and CEO Melissa Bridgeford, the New York-based company emerged from stealth in February 2026 with partnerships including Best Buy, Mastercard, and Stripe. It raised about $50M in a 2021 Series A from NEA and Accel, and acquired Bridgeford's prior startup Stylust as its foundation. Wizard is fully remote across the US with team offsites, a small builder-heavy team, and meaningful equity for early hires.
