Senior Technical Product Manager (AI) - Vault Medical

Veeva

This Product Manager role focuses on designing and delivering production-ready AI Agent solutions to automate medical content lifecycles and regulatory workflows within the life sciences industry.

What you’d own

  • Design and orchestration of RAG architectures and prompt engineering
  • Strategic discovery for non-deterministic LLM use cases
  • Defining KPIs to demonstrate AI ROI to stakeholders
  • Authoring high-quality specifications for engineering teams

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI
  • ✓You possess strong Python coding skills and experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex
  • ✓You can translate complex technical concepts for Legal, Medical, and Regulatory stakeholders
  • ✓You are comfortable working independently in an ambiguous environment

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer a deterministic product environment over the probabilistic nature of AI
  • ✗You lack a technical background in engineering or data modeling (ERDs)
  • ✗You prefer a highly structured, slow-moving corporate pace

Reading between the lines

  • The requirement for 'strong coding skills' and 'hands-on focus' suggests this is a highly technical role where you will likely be expected to prototype or review code.
  • The mention of 'navigating the probabilistic nature of AI' implies you will need to manage stakeholder expectations regarding model hallucinations and non-deterministic outputs.
