This Product Manager role focuses on the enterprise pricing domain for a large building materials distributor. You will manage the roadmap and technical capabilities to improve how pricing is governed and applied across the organization.

What you’d own

  • Enterprise pricing product strategy and roadmap
  • Pricing governance, application, and optimization tools
  • Data-driven insights for business leadership
  • Cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance, and engineering

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 4+ years of experience in product management or commercial operations.
  • ✓You have a background in B2B distribution, supply chain, or ERP systems.
  • ✓You are skilled at using data analytics to drive technical roadmap decisions.
  • ✓You enjoy navigating complex, matrixed organizational structures.

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer pure consumer-facing products over internal enterprise tools.
  • ✗You prefer a small, flat team over a large, multi-stakeholder organization.
  • ✗You are looking for a role with zero travel requirements (25% travel required).

Reading between the lines

  • The mention of 'build vs. buy' decisions and 'margin discipline' suggests the role involves significant internal stakeholder negotiation and high stakes regarding profitability.
  • The requirement to 'translate field and leadership needs' into scalable capabilities implies you will be mediating between frontline users and executive goals.
