Senior Product Manager (A/E ERP)

Unanet

This Senior Product Manager role focuses on enterprise ERP software within the AEC industry. You will lead a cross-functional pod to move from problem framing to prototype and launch using AI-accelerated workflows.

What you’d own

  • The problem-to-PRD loop for a defined product domain
  • AI-assisted development through multi-agent workflows
  • Product context layers including agent prompts and strategy
  • Outcome-oriented roadmaps based on strategic bets

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • You have 5+ years of software PM experience in ERP or accounting systems.
  • You are comfortable with technical architecture, data models, and information retrieval.
  • You have experience in hyper-agile environments and AI-assisted development tools.
  • You possess a background in accounting or finance (CPA preferred).

Not for you if…

  • You prefer traditional backlog management over active prototyping and problem framing.
  • You are uncomfortable working with LLM orchestration or agentic workflows.
  • You prefer a slow, deliberate release cycle over hyper-agile development.

Reading between the lines

  • The emphasis on 'fusion' between Product and Development suggests a very high level of collaboration and less separation between design and engineering.
  • The requirement for 'prompt engineering' and 'agentic workflows' implies you will be expected to build the tools that help the team work faster, not just manage the features.

Unanet builds ERP and CRM software for project-driven businesses, with deep specialization in two markets: government contractors (GovCon) and architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms. Its platform ties together project management, timekeeping, billing, financials, resource planning, and business development, with compliance for DCAA audits and FAR/DFARS/CMMC requirements built in so contractors can pass audits without spreadsheets. It has leaned hard into an AI-first positioning, including a ProposalAI tool that reads solicitations and drafts compliant RFP responses. Backed by growth equity firm JMI Equity with a later investment from Onex, Unanet serves firms like Gilbane and Balfour Beatty. The company is remote-first in the US with open PTO and paid parental leave, so PMs here work on vertical enterprise software in a compliance-heavy domain.
