Principal Product Manager - AI

TENEX.AI

This Principal Product Manager role leads the strategy for an AI-native Managed Detection and Response (MDR) platform. You will own the 0-to-1 lifecycle of autonomous security defense products powered by LLMs.

What you’d own

  • End-to-end lifecycle of AI-native cybersecurity products
  • Multi-year strategic roadmap for AI-driven security
  • Translation of LLM research into automated hunting playbooks
  • Product discovery with CISOs to solve alert fatigue

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or AI product management
  • ✓You have a proven track record of taking complex AI products from zero-to-one
  • ✓You possess deep domain knowledge in threat detection and MDR operations
  • ✓You understand multi-agent architectures and RAG pipelines

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer established product markets over 0-to-1 discovery and definition
  • ✗You lack the technical depth to partner with AI Research and Detection Engineering teams
  • ✗You prefer a structured corporate environment over a high-growth startup pace

Reading between the lines

  • The mention of 'agentic frameworks' and 'autonomous defense strategies' implies you will be working on highly complex, non-deterministic systems rather than simple wrappers.
  • The requirement to 'translate frontier LLM research' suggests a high degree of technical ambiguity where you must turn academic concepts into shipping features.
