Tarteel is a mobile app that uses speech recognition to help Muslims memorize and recite the Quran. Its flagship feature listens to a user's recitation and flags missed, incorrect, or skipped words in real time, alongside memorization planning and goal tracking tools. Founded in 2019, the app is free to start and earns revenue through Tarteel Premium, a family plan, and a program called Alim. It reports more than 10,000 five-star reviews and publishes a podcast and blog for its community. For a PM, it pairs a faith-driven consumer audience with an AI feature at the center of the product.
