Technical Product Manager

SunnyData

This Senior Product Manager role focuses on the data ecosystem for an Ad Tech client. You will lead product vision and roadmap execution for data-heavy, API-first platforms.

What you’d own

  • Product vision, strategy, and roadmap execution
  • Full software product lifecycle management
  • Triage processes, troubleshooting, and bug resolution

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • Experience leading cross-functional software teams in Agile environments
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships
  • Technical aptitude to collaborate with engineering teams on data-heavy products

Not for you if…

  • You prefer a slow, predictable pace over an evolving environment
  • You prefer working in isolation rather than constant cross-functional coordination
  • You are looking for a role without any operational triage or bug resolution

Reading between the lines

  • The mention of 'triage processes' and 'troubleshooting' suggests you will spend significant time on maintenance and reactive problem-solving.
  • The emphasis on 'fast-paced, ambiguous environments' implies a lack of established processes where you will need to create your own structure.

SunnyData is a pure-play Databricks systems integrator that helps companies design, migrate, and scale data engineering projects on the Databricks platform, taking work from concept through to production. It operates as a consultancy rather than a product company, selling implementation and modernization services aimed at delivering projects on time and under budget so clients can support more data and use cases. Founded in 2024 and based in Minneapolis, it has been admitted to Databricks' invitation-only Delivery Provider Program and has grown its team quickly. For a PM, the work sits close to hands-on data platform delivery inside a young, fast-expanding services firm.
