Product Manager

PingWind

This Product Manager role focuses on infrastructure and API platforms for federal health clients. You will manage a small team while overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects.

What you’d own

  • Product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Backlog management and user story definition
  • Small team of product managers
  • Security, privacy, and regulatory compliance

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 5+ years of experience in IT project or product management
  • ✓You have deep technical knowledge of APIs, microservices, and CI/CD
  • ✓You have experience managing people and leading teams
  • ✓You have worked with federal health clients or high-availability systems

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer a solo contributor role without people management responsibilities
  • ✗You lack experience in large-scale enterprise environments or government contracting
  • ✗You are looking for a pure consumer-facing product rather than infrastructure/API platforms

Reading between the lines

  • The requirement for Public Trust clearance and federal health experience implies a highly regulated environment with strict security constraints.
  • Managing a 'small team' while owning the roadmap suggests you will need to balance individual contribution with leadership responsibilities.
