The system spots fires in their first minutes, confirms incidents, and feeds visual data to first responders to keep blazes small — Washington DNR credited Pano with helping keep 95% of fires under 10 acres. Customers include Xcel Energy, Portland General Electric, Austin Energy, the US Forest Service, and BLM, with coverage across 10 US states, British Columbia, and parts of Australia. Founded in 2020 by Sonia Kastner and Arvind Satyam, the company raised a $44M Series B in 2025 led by Giant Ventures, bringing total funding to about $89M.
