Full job description
Location: Canada (Remote) Department: Strategic Delivery About Orium Orium builds smart, modern commerce solutions that help enterprise brands move faster and stay ahead. By bringing together AI, data, and composable systems, we create experiences designed for collaboration between people and intelligent agents— helping our clients work more efficiently, adapt quickly, and gain a long-term competitive edge. With more composable launches than any firm in the Americas and deep expertise across commerce architecture, we partner with leading technology providers to deliver scalable solutions that evolve with our clients and accelerate time to value. We blend systems thinking, data-driven design, and intelligent delivery, embedding AI and agents into our own teams to move faster, reduce friction, and co-create with greater precision. The result: adaptive, cross-channel experiences that keep our clients ahead of what’s next. About the Opportunity Are you energized by helping clients shape the future of their digital experiences? As a Product Manager at Orium , you’ll lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of complex commerce and brand initiatives across high-profile enterprise clients. Working at the intersection of business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility, you’ll drive clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments. Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you’ll steward product vision, manage end-to-end requirements, guide clients through complex decision-making, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, data-informed digital products. This role is perfect for someone who loves combining structured thinking, exceptional client leadership, and modern delivery practices, including the thoughtful use of AI, to move work forward with confidence and impact. Responsibilities Client Leadership Strategy Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding product vision, roadmap direction, and delivery priorities from discovery through launch. Act as a strategic consultant, identifying opportunities, risks, and solutions that balance business goals, user value, technical reality, and budget. Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and decision-making frameworks that build alignment across stakeholders. Provide subject matter expertise in eCommerce, headless CMS, and modern digital platforms. Travel Requirement: Occasional travel across the Americas to meet clients and partners. Planning Requirements Build and maintain clear, data-informed release plans and prioritization frameworks. Own the product backlog, ensuring stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and constraints are well-defined and up to date. Produce high-quality product requirements documentation, ensuring functional, non-functional, and data requirements are accurately captured. Translate complex problems into clear, actionable steps for cross-functional teams. Delivery Execution Lead end-to-end delivery across discovery, requirements, backlog management, execution, acceptance, and launch preparation. Collaborate closely with design, technology, and data teams to validate feasibility, clarify requirements, and ensure shared understanding. Manage budgets and provide transparent forecasting, burn insights, and ROI-driven prioritization. Facilitate delivery ceremonies and present progress, risks, and decisions to clients and internal leadership. Navigate trade-offs across scope, schedule, budget, and quality, escalating with recommended paths forward. Skills and Qualifications 3+ years of Product Management experience in Agile/Scrum environments. At least 1 year of experience in a client-facing, consulting, or agency setting. Proven ability to lead end-to-end product delivery from discovery through launch. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior client interaction. Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, backlogs, and plans. Skilled in prioritization and navigating scope, timelines, and budgets. Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Familiarity with modern digital products and platforms. Comfortable using AI tools in everyday workflows and collaborating with teams who use agentic development tools. Is the Role a Fit for You? You’ll thrive as a Product Manager at Orium if: You love partnering directly with clients and helping them make confident, informed decisions. You excel at bringing structure to ambiguity and at breaking complex problems into clear actions. You take pride in clean, well-maintained backlogs, requirements, and release plans, and see them as a reflection of strong product leadership. You’re excited to integrate AI thoughtfully into your work to enhance clarity, speed, and creativity. You naturally seek out tools, patterns, and processes that help teams work smarter and deliver better outcomes. How We Use AI at Orium Orium is committed to using AI to strengthen how we deliver for clients and evolve our ways of working. We approach AI with curiosity and critical thinking, looking for practical ways to improve quality, efficiency, and creativity while maintaining sound human judgment. Everyone plays a role in advancing our AI maturity, whether that means improving delivery workflows, shaping better client experiences, or experimenting with new approaches that raise the bar for our craft. Compensation and Hiring Transparency Expected Compensation (Canada): $100,000–$125,000 CAD annualized base salary. Orium lists this range in good faith, reflecting expected compensation for this role in the specified locations as of this posting. Final offers consider education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, internal equity, and business needs. This range does not include benefits. Use of AI in Hiring: To keep the process efficient and focused on human connection, we use AI-enabled and automated tools for tasks like candidate communications and scheduling, interview note-taking, and summarizing feedback for hiring teams. Our recruiters and hiring managers review all information, and humans make every hiring decision. Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy we are actively hiring for. Performance and Growth Expectations We emphasize accountability for outcomes, but autonomy in activities. Your work will be measured across a number of data points (peer, leader project team feedback) and will also be measured on the basis of client and user satisfaction. Your growth path is in your hands— you’ll have ongoing meetings with your leader to help determine your path, but your progress will be based on what you hope to achieve and how you choose to access the resources available to you. Committed to an Inclusive Workplace We are committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment as we build a workforce that reflects the diversity of the community in which we live, including those with disabilities. We are dedicated to providing accommodations in all parts of the hiring process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code. If you require any accommodation, we will work with you to meet your needs. Committed to Social and Environmental Stewardship Orium is committed to promoting and working towards a more socially and environmentally sustainable future. All employees are expected to make decisions and take actions in relation to their role and work that follow through on this commitment. #LI-Remote

They've shipped more composable commerce launches than any firm in North America, with clients like Harry Rosen, New Balance, and UNTUCKit, and lean on packaged accelerators and starter kits to compress time-to-value. Founded in 2009 as Myplanet (Toronto) and rebranded to Orium in September 2022 after an $11M growth investment from Tercera, the company has roughly $12.5M total funding. The pitch leans into 'hybrid teams' of humans plus AI agents and partnerships across the composable ecosystem.
