Director of Product - Storage Security

OPSWAT

This Director of Product role oversees the Storage Security business line for a global cybersecurity firm. You will lead the strategy, roadmap, and commercial success of both on-premises and cloud-native SaaS products.

What you’d own

  • Full responsibility for the Storage Security product line
  • Product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and cost structures
  • Go-to-market strategy and sales enablement
  • Technical requirements and engineering collaboration

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 3+ years of experience specifically in the Storage Security domain
  • ✓You have led cloud development teams and understand cloud-native architectures
  • ✓You have hands-on experience building with AI
  • ✓You are comfortable participating in sales calls and managing customer escalations

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer a pure product role without P&L, budget oversight, or business line management responsibilities
  • ✗You prefer to stay behind the scenes as you will be expected to participate in sales calls and demonstrations
  • ✗You are looking for a purely technical role without heavy requirements for storytelling and marketing coordination

Reading between the lines

  • The requirement to 'manage overall cost structures' and 'budget oversight' implies this is a P&L-responsible leadership role, not just a feature-led product role.
  • The mention of 'participate in sales calls' and 'managing customer escalations' suggests you will be expected to act as a technical authority during high-pressure sales cycles.
