OpenSciEd

OpenSciEd is a nonprofit that produces free, open-source science curriculum for K-12 classrooms, built with researchers and teachers around how students learn best. It offers elementary, middle and high school courses that anyone can download at no cost, plus self-guided professional learning for teachers. The materials report about 900 teacher-tested units and a network of roughly 158,000 teachers, and its three high school courses earned all-green ratings from EdReports. It is a small mission-driven team, so product work leans toward teacher usability, adoption and implementation support rather than monetization.
