NextGen Healthcare

This Senior Product Manager role oversees product strategy and delivery for a portfolio of ambulatory EHR and practice management software products within the healthcare vertical.

What you’d own

  • Product strategy and roadmap for assigned healthcare software
  • Full product lifecycle from ideation to sunset
  • Mentoring junior product managers
  • Cross-functional coordination with engineering, design, and GTM teams

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 7+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • ✓You have a proven track record of successful product launches
  • ✓You are comfortable navigating complex healthcare regulations and compliance

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer a narrow, singular focus over managing multiple workflows like scheduling, e-prescribing, and revenue cycle
  • ✗You prefer to work in a silo without mentoring or contributing to organizational product standards

Reading between the lines

  • The mention of 'modernizing and scaling the product management function' implies you will be expected to help define internal processes, not just execute existing ones.
  • The requirement to manage products from 'ideation to sunset' suggests a high degree of ownership over the entire lifecycle, including decommissioning legacy features.
