Senior Product Manager - Recruiter Experience (India)

Karat

This Senior Product Manager role focuses on the enterprise recruiter experience within a B2B SaaS platform. You will own the roadmap for recruiter workflows, analytics, and candidate matching systems.

What you’d own

  • Recruiter-facing workflow and analytics experience
  • Candidate matching and routing logic
  • Dashboards and reporting tools
  • Integrations with customer recruiting systems

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or HR tech.
  • ✓You enjoy '0-to-1' greenfield problems rather than just optimization.
  • ✓You are comfortable leading discovery calls and QBRs with enterprise clients.
  • ✓You have a track record of building analytics or workflow tools.

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer working solely on internal tools without direct customer interaction.
  • ✗You prefer a standard local schedule (requires U.S. business hour overlap).
  • ✗You prefer established, stable features over building new products from scratch.

Reading between the lines

  • The mention of 'greenfield' and 'building something genuinely new' suggests high autonomy but also significant ambiguity in the initial stages.
  • Requirement for U.S. overlap implies a need for flexibility in your daily schedule to accommodate global stakeholders.

Full job description

We're Karat , the world's largest interviewing company. Karat is transforming organizations around the world. We provide a powerful system for technical leaders at companies like PayPal, Atlassian, and Citi who want to take control of how they hire top engineers, elevate their teams and contractors, and stay ahead. At the core of Karat’s system are live, expert-led interviews, analytics designed to give leaders maximum visibility, and the most robust interview performance dataset in the world.

Come join our Product team Our Product team is committed to driving forward Karat’s mission to make interviews predictive, fair, and enjoyable. We are focused on providing deeper value to engineering and talent leaders, hiring managers, recruiters, candidates, and Interview Engineers . What you will do As Senior Product Manager, you will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for recruiter experience within the Karat Platform. You'll build experiences that give recruiters clearer visibility into their pipeline, faster ways to act on it, and less manual overhead — including exciting new ground in how strong candidates get matched to the right opportunity, not just the role they originally applied for.

You'll collaborate across engineering, content, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-impact solutions for our recruiting customers. This position requires a schedule that overlaps with U.S. business hours. Product Strategy Innovation: Define the roadmap for the recruiter-facing workflow and analytics experience; identify where better tooling, automation, and insight can save recruiters time and improve their day-to-day decision-making; explore new ways to surface and route strong candidates toward better-fit opportunities, both within a single hiring pipeline and across the broader set of roles we help fill.

Product Development Execution: Prioritize features based on customer needs and business objectives; partner with engineering, content, and UX teams to deliver high-quality, enterprise-ready solutions, including integrations with customers' existing recruiting systems Analytics Insights: Design and refine the dashboards and reporting recruiters rely on to manage their workload; analyze usage data to understand where recruiters get stuck or drop out of a workflow; run experiments to test new ways of surfacing insight, reducing manual effort, and improving match quality between candidates and opportunities Market Customer Focus: Track performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities; partner with Go-to-Market teams on expansion strategies; build compelling business cases for new offerings, including entirely new ways of connecting candidates to opportunity.

The experience you will bring 5+ years of product management experience across B2B and B2C offerings, ideally with exposure to recruiting, HR tech, or matching/marketplace-style products Genuine passion for and track record of building B2B SaaS applications — comfortable running customer discovery calls and QBRs and translating enterprise feedback directly into product decisions Demonstrated experience designing analytics, dashboards, or workflow tools that measurably improved how a professional user did their job Excited by greenfield, 0-to-1 problems — this role includes building something genuinely new, not just optimizing what exists Comfortable holding your own in client meetings with recruiting and TA leaders at large enterprises Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams This position is only available to candidates residing in Bengaluru (formerly known as Bangalore).

While our team operates 100% remotely, we are currently limiting hiring to this specific location. We will not consider applications from other cities in India at this time. Applicants, please note: we will not consider submissions that are not 100% in English. Additional Information By applying for a position, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Karat’s Employee and Contractor Privacy Notice found here . Statement of Inclusivity In keeping with our beliefs and goals, no employee or applicant will face discrimination or harassment based on: race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, age, gender, marital/domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability status, or veteran status.

Above and beyond discrimination and harassment based on “protected categories,” we also strive to prevent other subtler forms of inappropriate behavior (i.e., stereotyping) from ever gaining a foothold in our office. Whether blatant or hidden, barriers to success have no place at Karat. We value a diverse workforce: people of color, womxn, and LGBTQIA+ individuals are strongly encouraged to apply. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know at accommodation@karat.com .

Karat runs technical interviews as a service: a network of trained Interview Engineers conducts coding interviews over video on behalf of employers, then hands back consistent scoring data and benchmarks. Customers are engineering and recruiting teams at large enterprises and tech companies (Compass, Intuit, Mastercard, Citi, Goldman Sachs) that want a higher, more comparable hiring bar without burning their own engineers' time. Founded in 2014, the company has run over 600,000 interviews and has expanded into AI-readiness evaluation and broader workforce intelligence. It hires remotely across select US states and Bangalore, with a culture it describes as collaborative and inclusive.
