Senior Product Manager– Network Discovery
IP FabricThis Senior Product Manager role leads the Network Discovery product area for an infrastructure platform. You will own the core foundations for collecting, interpreting, and modeling complex network data.
What you’d own
- Network Discovery product area roadmap
- Data quality, scalability, and vendor support
- Technical trade-offs and feature scope
- AI-assisted discovery and workflow analysis
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
- ✓8+ years of experience in complex B2B infrastructure or platform domains
- ✓High agency and ability to make decisions without perfect information
- ✓Experience using AI tools to accelerate product discovery and synthesis
- ✓Comfortable collaborating with engineering to balance customer value with technical reality
Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer a role focused on coordination rather than independent decision-making
- ✗You require a high degree of pre-defined requirements or consensus before acting
- ✗You are looking for a non-technical product role without deep-dive technical ownership
Reading between the lines
- The emphasis on 'not waiting for perfect information' and 'high agency' suggests a high-ambiguity environment where you must be comfortable making calls with incomplete data.
- The explicit mention of not being a 'coordinator' implies the company expects a proactive leader who will push back against stakeholders to maintain product integrity.

About IP Fabric Join a pioneering force in network automation! At IP Fabric, we enable people to uncover the truth about their networks. Built by network professionals and industry experts, our innovative solutions are transforming how enterprises manage their networks. As a post-Series B company, we're expanding rapidly across Europe, the U.S., and beyond. Senior Product Manager – Network Discovery At IP Fabric, we help global enterprises uncover the truth about their networks.
Our platform gives infrastructure, security, and operations teams the visibility they need to understand complex hybrid networks, reduce risk, and make better decisions. We are expanding our Product team with a Senior Product Manager to lead the Network Discovery product area, one of the most critical foundations of our platform. Network Discovery is where IP Fabric earns trust: collecting, interpreting, normalising, and modelling network data across vendors, technologies, and environments.
This role is for a product leader with strong judgement, high ownership, and the ability to turn complex technical and customer problems into clear product decisions. You do not need to be a deep networking expert from day one, but you must be willing to go deep, learn fast, work closely with technical teams, and make sound decisions in ambiguity. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, pragmatic, and outcome-driven. Someone who does not wait for perfect information but can gather enough signal, make the right trade-offs, and move the product forward.
In this role, you will Lead the Network Discovery product area, including discovery capabilities, vendor and technology support, data quality, scalability, and related platform foundations. Make high-quality product decisions in complex and ambiguous situations, balancing customer needs, technical constraints, business impact, and long-term product direction. Work hands-on with Engineering, UX, Field teams, and customers to understand problems deeply, validate priorities, and turn discovery insights into clear product scope.
Own roadmap decisions for your area, including what we build, what we defer, and what we deliberately choose not to do. Drive measurable customer outcomes by improving the reliability, coverage, speed, and usefulness of IP Fabric's network discovery capabilities. Translate technical complexity into clear priorities, crisp problem statements, and actionable delivery plans. Use customer evidence, product data, field input, and technical judgement to make prioritisation decisions, not just stakeholder pressure or the loudest request.
Partner closely with Engineering to shape solutions, manage trade-offs, and ensure we deliver product value with the right level of quality. Raise the standard of product thinking across the organisation through clarity, ownership, and disciplined decision-making. Use AI practically to improve product discovery, vendor support analysis, customer workflow understanding, prioritisation, documentation, and internal product practices. We are looking for 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in B2B, enterprise software, infrastructure, platform, security, observability, networking, or another technically complex domain.
Strong product judgement: you can distinguish urgent from important, customer pain from customer preference, and strategic opportunities from distractions. High agency: you take ownership, create momentum, and do not wait for someone else to define the next step. Hands-on product leadership: you are comfortable writing problem statements, analysing customer input, reviewing technical trade-offs, shaping scope, and driving alignment yourself. Practical use of AI in product work: you actively use AI tools to accelerate discovery, analysis, writing, synthesis, prioritisation, prototyping, customer understanding, and decision support.
You do not treat AI as a novelty; you use it as part of how you work, think, and increase your leverage. Strong prioritisation skills in complex stakeholder environments, especially where customer requests, technical debt, platform needs, and commercial pressure compete. Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels, from product direction and roadmap trade-offs to specific feature scope, edge cases, and release readiness. Customer fluency: you know how to speak with users, validate problems, identify patterns, and turn feedback into better product decisions.
Strong collaboration with Engineering: you can work with technical teams respectfully, challenge constructively, and make decisions that balance customer value with implementation reality. Comfort with ambiguity: you can make progress without perfect data, while knowing when more discovery is needed before committing. Clear communication: you can explain decisions, trade-offs, and priorities in a way that builds trust across Product, Engineering, GTM, and leadership.
Networking experience is valuable, but not mandatory. Curiosity, learning speed, technical humility, and the willingness to go deep matter more. Experience applying AI/ML to product capabilities, customer workflows, automation, or internal product practices is highly valued. What will make you successful You will succeed in this role if you combine strong judgement with action. This is not a role for someone who only coordinates, collects requirements, or waits for consensus.
We need a product leader who can understand the problem, form a point of view, test it with evidence, and drive the organisation toward better decisions. The best person for this role will be curious enough to go deep, pragmatic enough to make trade-offs, and confident enough to take ownership of difficult product decisions. Why IP Fabric You will join IP Fabric at a pivotal stage of growth. Network assurance is becoming increasingly important as enterprise networks become more hybrid, distributed, regulated, and security-critical.
You will work on meaningful problems at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, compliance, security, and AI-assisted operations. You will have real ownership, direct access to customers and internal experts, and the opportunity to shape one of the core product areas of the company. The position is remote-first and EU-based. We welcome experienced Senior Product Managers ready to operate at Principal-level scope. We value diverse perspectives, direct thinking, and leadership styles that raise the bar for the whole team.
Benefits Perks 25 days of holidays Full remote role possible. Anniversary rewards. Collaboration with diverse, international teams. Regular team and company events. Join us to experience the unique culture of a founder-led startup, where from top to bottom everyone is hands-on and has a chance to make a tangible impact on influential enterprises worldwide. Being part of IP Fabric means being part of a flexible environment that prioritizes work-life balance and growth opportunities.
About IP Fabric
See all roles →IP Fabric is an automated network assurance platform that builds a vendor-neutral digital twin of an enterprise's entire network and cloud estate — discovering 100% of devices, connections, and configurations via read-only SSH and surfacing vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and configuration drift. Network and automation engineers use it to de-risk migrations, cut MTTR, validate pre- and post-change state, and feed trusted data into automation, ITSM, and observability tools like Splunk, Grafana, and NetBox. Founded in 2015 in Prague with offices in New York and London, IP Fabric raised a $25M Series B in 2023 led by One Peak, and supports 39+ vendor families across customers in 17 countries. The team is around 100–130 people across Europe and North America.
