AI capabilities including LLMs, RAG, and AI agents
Product requirements for AI quality metrics and evaluation frameworks
Mentoring Associate Product Managers
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
✓You have 5+ years of experience building enterprise SaaS products from discovery to launch
✓You have experience partnering with Data Science teams to deploy ML/AI capabilities
✓You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority
Not for you if…
✗You prefer a highly defined roadmap over discovering and defining the strategy yourself
✗You lack experience in regulated industries or complex, data-heavy workflows
✗You prefer working in isolation rather than collaborating deeply with Clinical SMEs and Data Science
Reading between the lines
The emphasis on 'regulatory requirements' and 'clinical development' implies a high-stakes environment where accuracy is non-negotiable.
The requirement to 'influence without direct authority' suggests a matrixed organization where you must lead through persuasion rather than hierarchy.
The focus on 'workflow analysis' and 'mapping complete customer journeys' indicates that the role is as much about process consulting as it is about software features.

Faro Health builds software for the biopharma teams who design clinical trials, turning the protocol from a static Word document into structured data that can be analyzed, scored for patient burden and cost, and drafted with AI. The platform spans study design, protocol authoring, and startup workflow automation such as automated EDC builds, and a peer-reviewed paper applying it to Merck protocols quantified the savings from simplifying schedules of assessment. Founded in 2019 by a clinical operations leader and based in San Diego, it sells to pharma sponsors and raised a $20 million Series B led by General Catalyst. The team is still small, roughly 50 people, so product surface per person is wide.
