Product Manager, Utilities - Sustainability
EntrataThis Product Manager role focuses on building sustainability and ESG features for an enterprise property management platform. You will bridge the gap between complex environmental reporting requirements and core utility data workflows.
What you’d own
- Sustainability/ESG feature roadmap (Scope 1, 2, and 3)
- Utility billing and energy data workflows
- Integration of AI tools for task automation
- Compliance with local benchmarking ordinances and GRESB/SASB reporting
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
- ✓You have deep domain expertise in ESG metrics, GHG Protocol, or green energy procurement.
- ✓You have experience in B2B SaaS, proptech, or utility-focused software.
- ✓You can translate complex regulatory requirements into clear technical acceptance criteria.
Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer generalist product roles without heavy domain-specific knowledge (sustainability/utilities).
- ✗You prefer a pure 'tech' role and don't want to deal with complex regulatory compliance.
- ✗You are uncomfortable working in an environment that requires active oversight of AI-generated outputs.
Reading between the lines
- The requirement for '0 to 1' and '1 to n' problem solving suggests you will be building new features from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones.
- The heavy emphasis on specific certifications (LEED, CEM) and reporting frameworks implies a high level of technical accuracy is required over creative freedom.
