Entrata makes the operating system that apartment and multifamily property managers run their business on, combining CRM, accounting/ERP, leasing, payments, renewals and maintenance in one platform, plus a resident-facing app for payments and services. Its customers are property management companies and owners across conventional, student and manufactured housing, and its software manages roughly 2.5 million apartment units. Founded in 2003 in Lehi, Utah, the company bootstrapped for 18 years before raising outside capital, is profitable on around $536 million in revenue, and filed to go public in September 2026. The current product push is agentic AI embedded in each operational workflow, with customer-defined levels of autonomy and governance.
