Senior Product Manager, Growth
EngineThis Senior Product Manager role focuses on growth for an AI-native travel platform. You will drive product-led growth (PLG) initiatives to improve retention, monetization, and user activation through experimentation.
What you’d own
- Experimentation-driven strategies for onboarding, activation, and retention
- AI-powered experiences using LLMs and predictive logic
- Cross-sell and attach opportunities across travel categories
- A/B testing and data analysis to scale successful features
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
- ✓You have 5+ years of experience in B2B product management
- ✓You have a proven track record moving conversion or revenue metrics
- ✓You are proficient with tools like Amplitude, LaunchDarkly, and SQL
- ✓You can translate complex technical ideas into clear plans for cross-functional teams
Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer a slow-paced environment without heavy experimentation requirements
- ✗You prefer to work in isolation rather than aligning with sales and marketing
- ✗You lack experience in product-led growth or B2B self-serve models
Reading between the lines
- The mention of 'moving the metrics that matter' across multiple stages suggests a high degree of accountability for specific revenue targets.
- The requirement to 'interrogate data' and use SQL implies you will need to be hands-on with data rather than relying solely on analysts.

Full job description
About Engine Engine is the AI-native platform for intelligent travel. For a decade, Engine has built the proprietary technology and supply behind modern business travel, serving over 40,000 customers and nearly 2 million travelers, along with leading travel and AI companies that build on Engine's infrastructure. One system powers business travel, group travel, human agents, and AI agents. That work has earned recognition as one of Fast Company's Best Workplaces for Innovators (2025), TravelTech's Reservation Platform of the Year (2026), and one of Built In's Best Places to Work (2020–2026).
We're looking for bold, ambitious people to help redefine how businesses manage and experience travel. Working here, you can expect exponential growth, an ambitious pace, full ownership, and high-caliber colleagues who push you to do the best work of your career. Every hire raises the bar. Come outpace the ordinary and build the future of travel with us. Your Mission As part of the Engine team, you'll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration.
Here's what you'll take charge of: Own Product-Led Growth: Craft and execute experimentation-driven strategies across onboarding, activation, retention loops, and monetization. You'll move the metrics that matter most: activation rate, time to value, product-qualified leads, net dollar retention, and expansion revenue. Build AI-Powered Experiences: Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market partners to apply LLMs, predictive logic, and smart automation that reduce friction, personalize the journey, and get customers to value faster.
Grow Every Account: Drive cross-sell and attach across hotels, flights, cars, and groups, and adoption of Direct Bill, FlexPro, and Rewards at the moment of need. Keep accounts booking through quiet stretches and team changes. Connect Product and Sales: Spot high-intent moments in the product and get those accounts to the right sales or account team fast, so self-serve and human help work as one motion. Lead Experimentation at Scale: Form hypotheses, design and run A/B tests, and partner with data teams to turn results into action.
Test early, learn fast, and scale what works across Engine's travel and spend management platform. Align and Influence: Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling plans, rally cross-functional stakeholders around shared goals, and make sure every growth feature delivers a seamless, high-impact experience for Engine customers. What You'll Bring to Engine We're looking for someone who's ready to make an impact and grow alongside us: Experience: 5+ years of hands-on product management experience, ideally for a self-serve or product-led B2B product.
You’ve owned a conversion or revenue metric and moved metrics in at least two of acquisition, activation, expansion, and retention. Skills: You're a problem-solver with strong analytical and experimentation skills. You're comfortable designing tests, interpreting results, and turning data into decisions, and you thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments. Tech-Savvy: You understand how to apply AI to prototype, ship small fixes, and interrogate data.
You're fluent in experimentation/analytics tools, e.g. Amplitude, LaunchDarkly, SQL. Mindset: You're deeply curious, outcome-focused, and ready to roll up your sleeves, collaborate, and deliver results that matter. Influence: You translate complex ideas into clear, compelling plans and drive alignment across engineering, design, data, sales, account management, and marketing. Applications for this role will be accepted through 02/08/2027 or until the role is filled.

About Engine
See all roles →Engine is a travel management platform built for small and mid-market businesses, simplifying how companies book and manage flights, hotels, and car rentals for employees. It combines a self-serve booking interface with policy controls, centralized billing, and reporting — replacing the fragmented experience of employees booking on personal cards and submitting expense reports. The company targets businesses that have outgrown consumer travel sites but don't need the complexity of enterprise solutions like Concur. Engine is venture-backed and competes in the SMB travel management space with a product designed for speed and simplicity.
