Full job description
Location: Remote Location Type: Remote Employment Type: Full Time Team: Product Management Country: US AI is automating knowledge work, and the construction industry is the largest market for vertical AI (nearly $1 in $3 spent on construction goes to management - not labor or materials). At Doxel, we believe vertical AI in Construction will be won by a platform that can understand the physical world. Doxel is that physical intelligence for the $15T construction industry - nearly 4x the size of SaaS! Yet, despite $4T spent on management, construction projects are late and over budget. Why? The reason is simple. Construction lacks the automated feedback loops of industries like software and manufacturing. Without real-time observability, issues are detected too late, eroding general contractor margins and costing owners millions in lost revenue. Doxel brings AI to construction, giving teams real-time visibility into schedule and budget risk. From hospitals to data centers and from leaders in the field to execs in the office, Doxel is used every day to make decisions that keep some of the biggest projects in the world on schedule and on budget. Customers deliver projects 11% faster on average, with up to 16% savings in monthly cash flow. Our platform is trusted by industry leaders including HCA Healthcare, QTS Data Centers, Genentech, DPR, Turner, and STO Building Group. We’re growing crazy fast: 100+ data center buildings, 80+ healthcare facilities, and 3+ billion square feet of construction tracked. Join us on the rocketship as we disrupt traditional construction SaaS and build the largest vertical AI company on the planet. The Role At Doxel, we ship value fast! And, our users demand that our mobile and web apps are easy to use and immediately fit into their existing workflows. As a product manager with Doxel, your main job is to deliver value to customers as quickly as possible. You’ll directly own all existing and new construction workflow features:  • Discovering user problems and needs by interviewing users on construction sites, participating in sales meetings, and listening to customer success.    • Narrowing in on solutions with the product design and engineering teams.  • Writing user stories and product requirement documents and leading your engineering team in building and releasing features that meet customer needs.   • Communicating the value of what you built to sales, marketing, customer success, and customers themselves.   Success in this role means executing this cycle with decisive ownership. You’ll be immediately rewarded with users thrilled that you’re making their projects, their jobs, and their lives better.  We live our cultural values: intellectual honesty, ownership, decisiveness, humility, and empathy. We’re small enough to take our values seriously; big enough to have a massive impact; and growing so quickly that opportunities for career growth are plentiful! Plus, our software developers are some of the most talented in the world, and they’re energized by solving tough real-world problems with cutting edge tech. So, it’s highly likely you’ll spec out features that contribute to winning and expanding 7-figure contracts just in your first 3-6 months. Your Day to Day Leading with a customer-first mindset and driving a fast-paced, agile approach to product development Conducting ongoing discovery with customers (executives and the field), Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to uncover meaningful problems and opportunities Shaping, refining, and executing against the product roadmap in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders Representing the voice of the customer in prioritization and product decisions Partnering closely with Engineering and QA/QC to prioritize features, address defects, and continuously improve processes Writing clear, actionable product specifications including user stories and acceptance criteria that enable teams to execute with speed and confidence Defining success metrics for new features and initiatives, measuring outcomes, and using data to guide iteration and improvement Balancing speed, quality, and business impact to consistently deliver high-value solutions What You Bring 3+ years of experience as a product manager at an enterprise SaaS company. 3+ years of experience working for a construction company (e.g., scheduler, project manager, field/project engineer, superintendent, etc.) or working on construction tech software for the fieldPMin the construction industry. A history of owning the conception, development, and release of new features. 0 to 1. Conviction in the ideal product development processes, and the flexibility to reduce processes to drive velocity. You dig deep to make sure we’re solving root problems and ensure we’re thinking about processes and systems in scalable and maintainable ways. No detail is too small, you are hands-on when needed, and you have a relentless drive to fit all of the small details into the big picture.
