Lead Director- Digital Product – Admission Prevention

CVS Health

This Director role focuses on enterprise healthcare technology to drive admission prevention and patient segmentation. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to integrate clinical vision into scalable technical roadmaps within an Epic-centered ecosystem.

What you’d own

  • Care Transitions and Patient Segmentation portfolios
  • Epic EHR workflows and module configurations
  • Integration of external data sources like claims and remote monitoring
  • Translation of clinical ideas into actionable product specifications

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • ✓You have 10+ years of experience in healthcare operations and clinical technology
  • ✓You possess deep expertise in Epic EHR workflows and configurations
  • ✓You have a background in Value-Based Care (VBC) or Fee-for-Service models
  • ✓You can lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, data scientists, and designers

Not for you if…

  • ✗You prefer generalist product management without deep healthcare domain knowledge
  • ✗You are looking for a role without heavy enterprise software (Epic) integration requirements
  • ✗You prefer working in small, agile teams without complex cross-functional stakeholder management

Reading between the lines

  • The requirement for 'translators' suggests the organization faces significant friction between clinical staff and technical teams.
  • Emphasis on 'high-pressure execution cycles' implies a demanding pace with high stakes regarding medical costs.

Team Leadership & Culture Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing product team of "translators"—professionals fluent in both healthcare operations and technology capability. Lead and mentor cross-functional technology teams beyond product - Epic analysts, engineers, data scientists - focused on driving success in CVS HCD admissions prevention efforts. Foster a team culture grounded in curiosity, resilience, problem-solving, and joy, maintaining high engagement even during complex, high-pressure execution cycles.
