Product Manager, Your Private Chef

CookUnity

This Product Manager role oversees a premium, personalized meal subscription service while supporting broader B2B marketplace initiatives. You will lead the transition from pilot to scale for a high-touch food marketplace.

What you’d own

  • YPC roadmap including personalization and wellness verticals
  • Chef onboarding and recipe intake pipeline
  • Pricing tiers and unit economics
  • B2B generalist initiatives like Smart Fridges and integrations

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • You have 4+ years of experience owning products end-to-end
  • You are business-minded with a focus on retention and margins
  • You have experience with subscription or recommendation-driven products
  • You thrive in startup environments and can bring structure to early-stage products

Not for you if…

  • You prefer a singular, deep focus without supporting other teams as a generalist
  • You prefer a highly defined corporate process over an early-stage environment
  • You are not comfortable managing complex vendor and kitchen operations

Reading between the lines

  • The 'generalist' requirement for B2B initiatives implies you will frequently context-switch between different product areas.
  • The mention of 'manual workarounds' suggests the current product state may have significant technical debt or operational friction.
  • The focus on 'unit economics' and 'defensible' pricing suggests a heavy emphasis on profitability over pure growth.

Full job description
Location: Argentina (Remote) Department: Product About CookUnity: Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul. Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world. If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting. About the role Your Private Chef is CookUnity's premium, personalized chef meal service, currently moving from pilot to scale. We're looking for a Product Manager to own YPC end-to-end and to also support the B2B product team as a generalist on other initiatives when needed. Responsibilities Own the YPC roadmap: subscriber personalization, wellness menu verticals (GLP-1, Everyday Wellness, Fitness Fuel, Healthy Heart, Blood Sugar Balance, Kids), and menu recommendation logic. Own the chef and recipe pipeline: chef onboarding, recipe intake, tagging, and QA. Work with kitchen and vendor partners on ingredient sourcing, costs, and kitchen tooling. Manage pricing tiers (standard, premium, extra premium) and unit economics. Support the B2B product team more broadly — Smart Fridges, partnerships, integrations — as a generalist when capacity is needed. Bring structure to a fast-moving, early-stage product as it expands into new markets. What success looks like YPC has a clear backlog, fewer manual workarounds, and measurable improvements in retention and CSAT. The chef/recipe pipeline scales without sacrificing quality or personalization. Pricing and vendor economics are transparent and defensible as the product scales. Teams have clarity on what we're building, why, and what success means. Leadership trusts you with increasingly complex, cross-functional problem spaces. What we're looking for Requirements 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager. Comfortable owning a product end to end, from strategy to execution. Strong communicator, works well across stakeholders, engineering, design, ops, and CX. Business-minded: cares about retention, margin, and outcomes. Strong plus Passion for wellness, nutrition, or the food-is-medicine space. Experience with subscription, personalization, or recommendation-driven products. Experience with marketplace/vendor management or culinary/hospitality products. Experience taking a product from pilot to multi-market scale. Startup or high-growth environment experience.
