Community Brands, now operating as Momentive Software, builds an integrated software suite that nonprofits and membership associations use to run their operations: association and membership management, fundraising, event management, learning, certification, accounting, and volunteer management, increasingly tied together with AI features like its MomentiveIQ layer. It serves over 37,000 mission-driven organizations, from Habitat for Humanity to professional associations, and sells into a fragmented vertical it has been consolidating for 40+ years. In July 2024, private equity firm TA Associates carved the business out of Community Brands and formed Momentive Software, which has since grown aggressively through acquisitions. For a PM, it's a large, PE-backed vertical SaaS roll-up with a broad product portfolio and remote and hybrid roles.
