VP, Global Head of Product Security and Risk
CircleThis VP role oversees the global product security and risk framework for a major financial infrastructure company specializing in digital assets and blockchain technology.
What you’d own
- Global product security and risk strategy
- Security, compliance, and risk requirements embedded in product design
- Scalable control frameworks and governance models
- High-performing teams across security, compliance, and risk management
Who it’s for
A fit if you…
- ✓You have 12–15+ years of experience in crypto, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
- ✓You have a proven track record of scaling product risk programs in highly regulated environments.
- ✓You possess executive presence and experience interfacing with regulators and auditors.
Not for you if…
- ✗You prefer a purely technical role without heavy regulatory, legal, and policy oversight.
- ✗You are looking for a standard product role without the responsibility of building security infrastructure from scratch.
- ✗You prefer a low-ambiguity environment where rules are already established rather than creating them.
Reading between the lines
- The requirement to 'lead through ambiguity' and 'build durable, scalable foundations' implies you will be expected to build the organizational structure for security from the ground up.
- Serving as a 'primary executive interface' with regulators suggests this role is as much about external diplomacy and advocacy as it is about internal product management.

About Circle
See all roles →Circle operates the infrastructure behind USDC and EURC, regulated, fully reserved stablecoins used for payments, currency access, and institutional trading around the world. Its platform gives developers wallets, cross-chain transfer protocols, and APIs to move digital dollars, and it is now extending those primitives toward agent-driven transactions in what it calls the agentic economy. Customers include Stripe, Nubank, Coinbase, MoneyGram, and Standard Chartered. Circle takes a regulation-first approach, holding money transmitter and e-money licenses across the US, EU, UK, Singapore, and other markets, and it went public on the NYSE in 2025. For a product manager, the draw is building financial rails at internet scale under real regulatory constraints.
