Senior Technical Product Manager (Sr TPM), Learning Intelligence

Cambium Learning Group

This Senior Product Manager role focuses on building AI-powered learning pathways and data infrastructure within an educational technology ecosystem, specifically managing machine learning models and complex data integration pipelines.

What you’d own

  • AI curation engine and recommendation algorithms
  • External data ingestion pipelines and metadata validation
  • Technical roadmaps for Learning Intelligence Infrastructure (LII)
  • System-to-system workflows and interoperability requirements

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • You have 3+ years of experience specifically leading machine learning or algorithmic data products.
  • You can translate complex technical schemas and architecture into actionable product specifications.
  • You have experience implementing agentic AI systems for customer-facing experiences.
  • You excel at brokering decisions between engineering, research, and design teams.

Not for you if…

  • You prefer consumer-facing UI/UX work over backend infrastructure and data pipelines.
  • You prefer high-level strategy over detailed technical documentation and requirement writing.
  • You prefer a role with clear, simple requirements rather than translating ambiguous stakeholder needs.

Reading between the lines

  • The mention of 'platform capabilities that may not always be visible to end users' suggests a heavy focus on internal systems and backend infrastructure over front-end features.
  • The requirement to 'broker product decisions' and 'resolve conflict' across multiple departments implies a high degree of organizational navigation is required.
