Senior Product Manager, Installed Systems - Video

Audinate

Senior Product Manager for an AV networking media company. You will lead the lifecycle of video products within installed systems, focusing on creating new product areas rather than just replicating existing market solutions.

What you’d own

  • Full lifecycle of 'Whole Product' in the AV platform
  • Product roadmaps based on VOC and usability studies
  • PRDs and MRDs for engineering teams and OEM/ODM partners
  • Business cases and financial plans for your portfolio

Who it’s for

A fit if you…

  • You have 10+ years of experience in product management with a focus on 'whole product' methodologies.
  • You possess deep technical knowledge of AV-over-IP video systems and technologies.
  • You have experience managing OEM/ODM relationships and high-throughput development cycles.
  • You have a background in AV system design (e.g., Q-SYS, Crestron) or technical AV sales.

Not for you if…

  • You prefer working on incremental features rather than conceptualizing entirely new product areas.
  • You lack specific domain expertise in the installed AV industry and AV-over-IP technology.
  • You prefer to stay behind the scenes; this role requires active trade show management and selling.

Reading between the lines

  • The requirement for 'whole product' methodology and marketing support suggests you will be responsible for the commercial success of the product, not just the technical specs.
  • The mention of OEM/ODM partners implies a complex supply chain and manufacturing coordination beyond standard software development.
